Visibility

We raise the issue of young people’s mental health. Through campaigns, debates, stories and communication we create visibility and encourage conversations about what is often difficult to talk about. The goal is to increase understanding, reduce stigma and get more people to feel seen and heard.

VISIBILITY

Break the Silence

With Break the Silence the initiators want to continue to put focus on the issue of young people’s mental health. The launch of The World’s Most Expensive Cap and the opening of the store UNSLNT are the first in a series of new activities within the initiative.

VISIBILITY

Arena staff 💜 For a Better Day

Our arena staff meet thousands of visitors at each event. Everyone wears a For A Better Day pin to highlight our commitment to young people’s mental health and help ensure the issue is given space.

VISIBILITY

For life, healing & hope

To mark World Mental Health Day On 10 October Avicii Arena was lit up in green. The green color symbolizes life, healing and hope.

VISIBILITY

An important conversation

The Tim Bergling Foundation works to have mental health raised as a subject in schools. As part of that, ”An Important Conversation”.

In 2022 influential politicians and opinion leaders were invited to discussions on the subject in the arena. In 2023 young people’s voices were the focus. Everyone agrees. Mental health should be as natural a subject in schools as physical health has been for 200 years.

How are you?

Sometimes things we experience in life can seem impossible to handle. But with support from others, we can. A simple conversation is often an important first step.

Don’t be afraid to let your friends, family, teachers or someone else in your community know how you’re feeling.

If you would rather be anonymous when asking for help, there are helplines and chat services with volunteers and professionals who are here for you.
