Bag ban policy
No bags are allowed at this event.
The Swedish Police Authority has introduced a total ban on bringing bags to major events. Exceptions can only be granted for medical reasons upon presenting a valid medical certificate, as well as for people with children in need of a nursery bag.

Time schedule
The entrances open 90 minutes before the game starts. The time schedule with the opening hours for the entrances can be found here.
Please use the entrances as indicated on your ticket, and make sure to arrive well in advance, at least 60 minutes before the start of the game, as queues are expected.
PLEASE NOTE! If you will attend more than one game, you will need to leave the arena between games. You will not be allowed to stay in the arena foyer until the next game starts.

Official Fan Zone
On May 9, the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship kicks off in Stockholm and Herning – and with that, we welcome all ice hockey fans to the Official Fan Zone of the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Stockholm, next to Avicii Arena.
Do not miss 12,000 square meters packed with live music from artists like Rydell & Quick and De Vet Du, great games on big screens, food and drinks, the official mascot Beaty, DJs every night, table hockey challenges against world champion Göran Agdur, and lots more!
Open every game day, May 9–25 – from early afternoon until late evening
Free entry – everyone is welcome!

Getting here
From Arlanda Airport
You can travel by train, bus and taxi to Stockholm City from Arlanda Airport. For more information about the travel options, please visit IIHF's webpage.
Public transport
Avicii Arena is located in Johanneshov, south of Stockholm. The closest station is Globen; however, due to large crowds at events, consider using other nearby stations such as Gullmarsplan, Skärmarbrink, Blåsut, Sandsborg, and Enskede Gård. Limited parking availability
There will be heavy traffic in the area, and parking spaces are limited. We kindly ask you to leave your car at home and use public transport to and from the arena. For those traveling longer distances and needing a car, we recommend using drive-in parking and taking public transport for the final stretch to the arena. For visitors to Terrace East & Terrace West (Section C) Once you enter through entrance 6, you will find signs and stairs leading up to Terrace East (entrance 6 East) and Terrace West (entrance 6 West). Need an elevator? Ask our event hosts, and they will show you the way.
Accessibility
If you require additional accessibility support, you are welcome to use our calm entrances located at the left of entrance 2 and by entrance 6. You will find signage by the entrances directing you upon arrival as well as event hosts for your assistance. General information about accessibility at Avicii Arena can be found here.

Legends, The Fans Bar & The Pub
Throughout the arena, you will find kiosks offering light meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. The kiosks open at the same time as the restaurants and bars on the game day.
Please note that we do not accept reservations in our restaurants or bars.

All food and drink areas open at 11:00, except on May 10 when The Pub and The Fans Bar open at 14:50.

The Pub is closed on 13–15 May and 18 May.

All food and drink areas open at 12:50.
25 May
All food and drink areas open at 13:50.

Practical information
Bag ban & prohibited items
No bags, including small handbags, fanny packs, canvas bags and plastic bags, may be brought inside Avicii Arena or in the Official Fan Zone. It is also not permitted to bring prams, umbrellas, system cameras, bottles (including water bottles), food or drinks into the premises. There will not be any cloakroom or storage facilities available at Avicii Arena or in the Official Fan Zone.
At the shopping mall beside the arena, there will be limited bag storage available at a cost per bag. The storage is open from 11:00 to 23:00. For security reasons, all bags will be checked before drop-off.
Many visitors are expected, and due to high security levels, entry may take time. For a smooth entrance, arrive early.
On-site assistance
Our event staff are available to assist you throughout the event. You can also visit the information desk at entrance 2.
Your tickets
Since there are several games, please double-check to which day and game you have purchased tickets for.
An order confirmation is not enough – you must scan the barcode on your PDF ticket or the QR code in the app to enter the arena.
To use your app tickets (AXS Mobile ID), you must download the Stockholm Live app from the App Store or Google Play.
