From May 9-25, 2025, this prestigious tournament will take place at Globe Arena, Stockholm. Get ready for the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark!

Tickets go on sale on October 3 at 10:00 AM. Purchased tickets will be delivered at a later date, no later than January 1, 2025.

Sweden’s Group A will play their group stage matches at Globe Arena, Stockholm, where two quarterfinals, both semifinals, and the bronze and gold medal games will also be held. Group B will play in Herning, Denmark, which will also host the other two quarterfinals. The following nations will play their group stage matches at Stockholm Globe Arena: Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Austria, France, Canada, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Avicii Arena is located in Johanneshov in south of Stockholm. Within easy walking distance there are six metro stations including Gullmarsplan - Stockholm's second largest hub for public transport with trams and buses.

Practical information

No bags, including small handbags, fanny packs, canvas bags and plastic bags, may be brought inside. It is also not permitted to bring umbrellas, bottles, system cameras, food and drinks into the arena.

Many visitors are expected and as the level of security is high, entry may take time. Please arrive in advance.

Your tickets

If you have chosen app tickets (Mobile ID tickets), you need to download the Stockholm Live app or update the app if you have the older version, to retrieve your tickets. You can do this via the App Store or Google Play.
