More about In Flames
Next spring, two of modern metal's most influential bands will unite in a large-scale European tour. In Flames, who are generally considered the pioneers behind the melodic death metal sound, and Trivium, who have been part of defining 21st century metal, are now united in the ultimate metal tour. Together with two of the hottest new bands in the scene, Paleface Swiss and VOLA, the tour will be one of the heaviest in Europe next year. About In Flames' concert at the Göteborg Brinner festival, Aftonbladet said:
“In Flames stands for the most dizzying and talked about gig in the festival's history. In 2010, 20,000 euphoric "jesterheads" jumped so intensely during "Only for the weak" that the Götaälv Bridge (RIP) itself was set in motion, to the point that the bridge guard felt compelled to sound the alarm.” Since forming in Gothenburg in 1990, In Flames has sold millions of records worldwide, toured globally for over three decades and become one of the strongest brands in hard rock and metal. They never hesitate to push their artistic boundaries, and create music that is as captivating as it is uncompromisingly heavy. About the upcoming tour, In Flames says; “We are so happy to return to Europe together with our old friends in Trivium! Paleface Swiss and VOLA complete a fantastic line-up. You don't want to miss this epic metal evening. See you soon!”
More about Trivium
Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy, along with guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto and drummer Alex Rüdinger, Trivium has been one of the metal scene’s most reliable and successful forces for more than two decades. Their breakthrough album Ascendancy was named Album of the Year by Kerrang! and sold half a million copies worldwide. Since then, the band has been awarded multiple gold and silver certifications, debuted in the Billboard 200’s top 25 for six consecutive albums, and achieved over a quarter of a billion streams.
More about Paleface Swiss
Zurich-based Paleface Swiss have risen from the extreme metal underground to become one of Europe’s most talked-about live acts. Fronted by the charismatic Marc “Zelli” Zellweger, 2025’s Cursed and 2026’s follow-up EP The Wilted have cemented the band’s reputation for relentless riffs and explosive live shows. From Copenhagen comes VOLA, a Danish-Swedish progressive metal band known for combining technical metal, djent and electronic influences with grand and atmospheric song structures. The 2024 album Friend Of A Phantom, which features IN FLAMES singer Anders Fridén as a guest artist, further demonstrated the band's ability to combine multiple musical expressions into their own unique sound.
