It is now clear that the global K-pop band aespa will go on a world tour with the 2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : COMPLæXITY, starting August 7 in Seoul. The upcoming tour marks a new, creative chapter in the aespa universe with brand new performances, set design and visual storytelling. The tour announcement comes in conjunction with the news of aespa's upcoming second studio album, LEMONADE, which will be released on May 29. The new album consists of ten songs and depicts aespa in its most confident expression to date, combining the group's futuristic identity with sharper storytelling and a braver, more mature sound.
The group's futuristic identity is expressed, among other things, through members KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE and NINGNING's digital avatars, aes, who live in a fictional universe where reality and the digital world are blurred.

Their third EP MY WORLD also reached number one on the Top Album Sales chart.
This success was followed by the EP Drama, the first full-length album Armageddon, the fifth EP Whiplash, the single “Dirty Work” and the sixth EP Rich Man. Most recently, aespa collaborated with Anderson .Paak on the song Keychain from the film K-POPS!, and in total, aespa has achieved million-selling status for seven consecutive releases.
After being named “Group of the Year” at the Billboard Women in Music 2025, aespa was recently nominated for “Best Female K-Pop Artist” at the 2026 American Music Awards.
