Simple Minds set to embark on European tour –  with a stop at Avicii Arena this spring

Simple Minds return to Sweden for a concert at Avicii Arena on April 25th, and they will bring Level 42 as Very Special Guests. It will be a hard-to-beat full night filled with iconic songs.

With over 60 million albums sold, five decades of music and songs like "Don't You (Forget About Me)", "Alive and Kicking", "Promised You a Miracle", "Waterfront" and "Belfast Child", they have built an unbeatable catalogue, which still continues to find a new generation of listeners.

At the same time, Simple Minds have never been stuck in nostalgia. When they return to Sweden for the first time in five years, they will be relevant with the album "Sacrosanct".

Expect a large-scale live show that moves through Simple Minds' entire career, from the early new wave and art rock roots to the big international hits and acclaimed releases of later years.

Avicii Arena is located in Johanneshov in south of Stockholm. Within easy walking distance there are six metro stations including Gullmarsplan - Stockholm's second largest hub for public transport with trams and buses.

Practical information

Information about whether a cloakroom will be available will be updated on the website and sent out in a welcome email a few days before the event.

It is not permitted to bring umbrellas, bottles, professional cameras, food, or drinks into the arena. No bags larger than 40x40x20 cm are allowed inside. All bags will be checked at the entrance.

Many visitors are expected and as the level of security is high, entry may take time. Please arrive in advance.
