Lars Winnerbäck on autumn tour - stops in Stockholm at Avicii Arena
One album. One tour. It will be a Winnerbäck autumn with a longing for spring. In connection with the release of his fifteenth album, Lars Winnerbäck will go on a big arena tour through Sweden and Norway, the first since 2023, with a stop in Stockholm at Avicii Arena on November 21st of this year.
"This autumn we will go on an arena tour again, finally. Weaving together old and new. And I humbly thank you, really, for having been able to do this for thirty years. Hoping for thirty more." - Lars Winnerbäck
Tickets go on Tuesday, June 2nd at 12:00.
In the spring of 2026, Lars Winnerbäck went down to southern France and Provence with his beloved live band. The destination was La Fabrique, the recording studio where Radiohead, Nick Cave and Mika, among others, have created classics.
"The first song I wrote was Greetings, which in many ways sums up what the rest of the album came to be about - spring, light and love in relation to darkness, death and a crazy world. Provence is an ok place to be. Especially in May and especially together with the band and Johannes. It became a warm and honest and organic album." - Lars Winnerbäck
On May 29th we get the first taste of the song Greetings and on September 25th Lars Winnerbäck's fifteenth album, Längtan till våren, produced by Johannes Runemark, will be released.
The band consists of: Jonna Löfgren - drums, Jerker Odelholm - bass, Mikaela Hansson - piano, synth, Carl Ekerstam - guitar, Staffan Johansson - guitar and Sandra Widman - vocals.
More about Lars Winnerbäck:
In 2023, Winnerbäck released the album Neutronstjärnan, created together with Kent's Joakim Berg and Martin Sköld. For the album, Lars Winnerbäck was awarded the Rock of the Year at the 2024 Grammis Awards.
In the fall of 2023, Winnerbäck went on a sold-out arena tour and in the summer of 2024, over 140,000 people saw the big summer tour. In 2025, Winnerbäck broke the audience record at the Rosendal Garden Party in Stockholm when he performed the only gig of the summer in front of 15,850 people.
For 30 years, Winnerbäck has brought Swedish melancholy to the stage and put words to the feelings of an entire generation. On fourteen studio albums, he has created his own, clearly recognizable, language and coined perhaps the most Swedish word we have: tandläkarväder.
