More about Il Volo
Il Volo's journey began in 2009, when the three young singers first appeared as solo contestants on RAI 1's talent show Ti lascio una canzone. They were discovered by the famous manager Michele Torpedine and soon united as a trio, launching a remarkable international career. Their 2010 self-titled debut album launched them onto the global stage, including a memorable performance at We Are The World for Haiti alongside some of the world's biggest artists. Milestones quickly followed: a 2012 tour with Barbra Streisand in North America, collaborations with Plácido Domingo and Eros Ramazzotti, and their historic victory at the 2015 Sanremo Music Festival with Grande Amore, which also led to an acclaimed Eurovision performance.
Over the years, Il Volo has continued to expand their artistic reach with projects such as Notte Magica, tributes to Ennio Morricone, extensive world tours, and a growing discography that cements their place as one of Italy's most beloved singing groups.
The trio's momentum has only accelerated in recent years, marked by continuous touring, prime-time television specials, and prestigious performances around the world—from singing for Pope Francis in Panama and Pope Leo XIV in Rome to performing at major cultural events and collaborating with iconic artists like Andrea Bocelli. Il Volo celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2024 with the album Ad Astra, embarked on new tours, released international releases, and delivered outstanding concert productions such as Tutti Per Uno at the Verona Arena.
With sold-out shows in Latin America, Europe, and the United States, several high-profile television appearances, and upcoming performances scheduled through 2027, Il Volo continues to captivate global audiences with their powerful voices, symphonic arrangements, and timeless musical vision.
