From the very first event, we can experience the atmosphere in the newly upgraded arena, now equipped to make events look, sound, and feel better—more immersive.

With the new retractable inner roof, the arena can be adapted for all kinds of music and sports events. The atmosphere can be adjusted to match the desired mood, whether grand and majestic or more close and intimate.

A completely new acoustic system, along with the new inner roof, enhances the acoustics within the arena. Additionally, a modern lighting system has been installed, ensuring the live experience will be maximized.

In Avicii Arena, even more people can now enjoy sports events right in the middle of all the action. And when hockey moves in, the experience is ramped up by 100%. With more seating and a new standing area closer to the ice, even more fans can enjoy the sound of skating blades and a pulsating atmosphere. World-class hockey, simply put.

In the heat of the action

The arena has been equipped with entirely new seating that brings us closer to the ice and the stage than ever before. There are now also more accessible seating options!

The previous seating, located at the top of the arena, has been demolished and replaced with a completely new section offering some of the best seats in the house. This new seating puts the audience at the center of the action, located closer to the arena floor, with access to several bars, restaurants, and social areas behind the seats.

With carefully designed sightlines, the new seating improves visibility for everyone. The stands are now also adorned with new dark-colored seats that are not only comfortable but also contribute to better acoustics. As if that weren’t enough, the brand-new jumbotron and high-quality LED band enhance the experience from every angle!

You are Premium

In February, the arena space will be ready for its reopening, but the work on the arena’s premium concept will continue throughout the year.

By the time everything is finished in the fall of 2025, there will be something for everyone who wants to take their live experience to the next level. We’re talking everything from luxurious dining experiences, to Party Booths for the livelier events, to lounges and suites with extra comfortable seating, and Premium Upgrades to add a golden touch to the experience.
