Drake Embarks on a Major European Tour – Two Shows in Sweden This Summer!
Drake returns to Europe this summer with his highly anticipated tour $ome $pecial $hows 4 EU. Swedish fans can look forward to two concerts with the five-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling artist – Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22 at Avicii Arena in Stockholm. These shows mark Drake’s first visit to Sweden since 2017. Joining him as a special guest is PARTYNEXTDOOR.

$ome $pecial $hows 4 EU features a series of arena concerts across Europe and kicks off in Birmingham, following Drake’s three-night headlining slot at Wireless Festival in London. The tour includes stops in cities like Munich, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam – and Stockholm, where he’ll perform two nights.
This marks Drake’s first European tour since Assassination Vacation Tour in 2019, and his first performances in Sweden in seven years. The tour follows his sold-out Australian run in February and his extensive North American tour in 2023–2024, which featured 80 sold-out dates.
On Valentine’s Day 2025, Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR released their joint album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. PARTYNEXTDOOR will join Drake as support for the entire tour – including both Stockholm shows on August 21 and 22.
Drake is a Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling artist and versatile entertainer. Born in Canada, he broke through in 2009 with his debut EP So Far Gone, which was named Mixtape of the Year by MTV and sold over 650,000 copies.
In 2018, he released the platinum-selling double album Scorpion, followed by the Aubrey & the Three Migos tour, featuring guest appearances from artists like Meek Mill, French Montana, and Travis Scott.
Over the past five years, Drake has focused on music creation, resulting in some of his most acclaimed work. In August 2019, he topped the U.S. charts with Care Package, a compilation of previously unreleased tracks from 2010–2016. In September 2021, he dropped Certified Lover Boy, which broke Apple Music’s record for most streams in a single day.
In summer 2022, he surprised fans with his seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind, featuring a notable collaboration with 21 Savage. The duo’s joint album Her Loss was released in November 2022, with all 16 tracks entering the Billboard Hot 100.
In October 2023, Drake released his eighth studio album For All The Dogs via OVO Sound and Republic Records. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming his 13th number-one album in the U.S. All 23 songs from the album entered the Billboard Hot 100, with seven tracks reaching the top ten.
On February 14, 2025, Drake and Canadian artist PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped their collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, further cementing Drake’s versatility and enduring influence in the music industry.
