Ricky Gervais is coming to Avicii Arena on September 27, 2025!

The award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and director Ricky Gervais is returning to Sweden with his successful world tour "Mortality" next year. Just over a year ago, we saw him conquer a sold-out Avicii Arena in Stockholm – an evening that was a huge success. Now it’s confirmed that he will return to Stockholm and Avicii Arena on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Tickets go on sale on December 13 at 10:00 AM. Age limit: 13 years, the show is of an adult nature.

Ricky Gervais is regarded as one of the most influential British comedians since Charlie Chaplin. He is the creator and star of hit shows like The Office, Extras, Derek, and the critically acclaimed Netflix success After Life. Following the global success of his two previous Netflix stand-up specials, Humanity and Supernature, Gervais released his third and largest special to date, Armageddon, in 2023. It won a Golden Globe, became the world’s most-watched program on Netflix, and was followed by a record-breaking international tour that sold out 85 arenas worldwide. His show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles was also recorded in the Guinness World Records as the highest-grossing comedy show of all time.

Avicii Arena is located in Johanneshov in south of Stockholm. Within easy walking distance there are six metro stations including Gullmarsplan - Stockholm's second largest hub for public transport with trams and buses.

There will be kiosks around the arena for beverages and light snacks.

Practical information

No bags, including small handbags, fanny packs, canvas bags and plastic bags, may be brought inside. It is also not permitted to bring umbrellas, bottles, system cameras, food and drinks into the arena.

Many visitors are expected and as the level of security is high, entry may take time. Please arrive in advance.

Your tickets

The tickets will be sent out well in advance of the event.

If you have chosen app tickets (Mobile ID tickets), you need to download the Stockholm Live app or update the app if you have the older version, to retrieve your tickets. You can do this via the App Store or Google Play.
